“Andrew came out same day and managed to clear the blockage from our macerator. It was a shampoo bottle lid. All sorted, no fuss.”

What customers say
What the visit covers
Back-room bathrooms
North Shields terraces, including towards the Fish Quay, often have a bathroom built into a back room. The Saniflo is lifting waste to a stack that was never meant for that room.
Typical visit
- Listen to whether the Saniflo runs and whether it stops
- Agree the price before any part is fitted
- Open the unit and clear a blockage, float or worn part
- Say so if a new Saniflo is the honest fix
- Run a flush before I leave

Riverside streets can be one-way. A door colour or a back-lane note gets me to the right house faster than the street name alone.

Local know-how
Local details that matter in North Shields
Former back rooms
The WC is where a bedroom was. The pump is doing a lift the original plumbing never had. I look at the height of that run.
One-way streets
Riverside streets are awkward. Tell me the door colour or whether to use the lane.
Shower in the same room
A shower added in that back room on the same Saniflo will overwhelm a tired unit. Say if the shower is on it.
How it works
Three simple steps
Call or send the form

Diagnosis and a fixed price
We find the fault, explain it in plain English and agree the price with you before any parts are fitted.
Fixed and explained
You get a clear note of what was done. If a part or a return visit is needed, it is booked from the same facts — not a fresh guess.
Common questions
Saniflo and macerator repair FAQs for North Shields
The bathroom used to be a bedroom. Does that matter?
Yes. Those rooms have a long lift to the original stack. A Saniflo that coped for years and now labours is often the pipe, not a sudden blockage.
We are near the Fish Quay. How do I describe the house?
A door colour or the back lane is more useful than the street alone. Some of those roads are one-way.
Do you cover Tynemouth as well as North Shields?
Yes. North Shields, Tynemouth, Chirton and Preston.
